About Me
Sean Hackel has trained in classical choral and operatic singing, performed poetry on stage, and competed in front of crowds for grappling tournaments and kickboxing shows. Sean developed his voice singing with the Handel and Haydn Young Men's Ensemble for three years. Sean got a taste for the stage with opportunities to sing at the Majestic Cutler Theater, the Wilbur Theater, and Symphony Hall. In college Sean became a prominent figure for Boston College's Slam Fashion poetry and fashion exhibition with his exuberant renditions of original pieces. Frequent open mics kept his pen and performance sharp. He continues to enjoy grappling, boxing, and kickboxing in front of the boisterous crowds of Rhode Island. Harnessing his experiences from Slam Poetry festivals, the open mic scene in downtown Boston, singing at some of the most beautiful theaters in the city, and dominating the 125lb division for TAPOUT CANCER and NAGA, Sean is eager to incorporate his talents in new endeavors.
